The Pocatello Marathon had a great deal with Gate City Sports Photography where you could sign up for a photo package at the expo to get all of your race pics, full quality, emailed to you for $25.
Jennifer thought it was too good to pass up, and signed up both of us. ;) Here are a few of mine!
I have never run outside before in a short racing top before. This is the new uniform top for the Brooks ID program and I REALLY went back and forth about wearing this one or the older one that I have that is a full tank. I have decent abs that I have worked hard for, but having three babies, one c-section and losing 80lbs has left me with some loose skin that I am pretty self conscious about. Jennifer, Lauri, and Alana encouraged me to wear this top and it felt great. The "old me" never would have had the confidence to run in this, but I am getting better and better about embracing the body that I have.

Absolutely awesome! Thanks for sharing and glad you liked the new top!
You have nothing to feel embarrassed about--you look great! Congrats on the strong race.
I think you look great, but I understand about the top. I'm self-conscious and I don't have any kids or anything to complain about with my stomach (minus a small scar from having a mole removed). I guess it's because we think people are really concentrating on it but it's really something only we would notice probably. Your race pics turned out great, it sounds like a neat deal that you could get them e-mailed to you for that price too!
Beautiful.
Powerful.
Strong.
Determined.
YOU.
Great pics. Very cool. :)
ditto on the short top. I would LOVE to wear tops like that during the summer here in Houston but feel my stomach is such a disaster zone. I am starting to get more serious about my core work so maybe that will help but I still can't imagine having the 'guts' to wear one for the 1st time! My 3rd baby was 11lbs 5ozs and was in there for 43weeks and 2 days, I was pretty big as you can imagine! I don't think my skin will ever recover!! You look full of bounce and your stomach looks great.
Ah, great pictures. I've been debating over getting my photos from Chicago RNR half. 35 bucks for 3 digitil prints. And this is the sale.
I've been off and on debating running with calf sleeves, which I use for recovery. You run with them and certainly rock them fast.
Congrats again! You look happy and in control in all of those! I guess because you were:)
Hope you're enjoying some nice down time!
So full of strong!! LOVE THEM ALL!! Great form too. Absolutely inspiring. I hope to someday be as fast as you.
Awesome time and you look great running it... Strong!
Thanks for sharing!
you look incredible, erin!!! your strength, courage and determination just radiate - you are beautiful!!!! i love these pictures :)
Great pics. Congrats on the PR.
You look great! I hear you on the abs. I work hard for mine, but I have loose skin and some stretch marks (that only I can see!!! seriously) and feel self conscious sometimes. It's ridiculous.
Congratulations on the PR. And on the great race photos. Those are almost more elusive than PRs. ;) Enjoy your successes.
I think you look awesome...congrats! I hope to soon embrace that same body confidence!
Great pics...great abs!!
If only we could start embracing our bodies for what we have produced, endured and accomplished...none of us would ever be self-conscious over them...only proud of what they have given us, and how far they have taken us ;)
congrats!
you can totally pull it off :) but i also understand the self-consciousness. it's great that you didn't talk yourself out of wearing it. great pics!
You look beautiful, happy, and tough as freaking nails!
Great great pictures, great race, great body! You rock!
Wow, you look really impressive. You look like one of those Real Runners, that kind of scare me..
Erin, I hope you don't mind me doing a little blurb about you today. A Motivate Me Monday update letting my readers know what you're up to and how far you've come. :) xo, Jessica

As believers in God, we are called to dress modestly as the Bible commands. This doesn't mean "except when we are exercising." It is embarrassing & a poor testimony to our Lord when women dress immodest. My friend is a member of the LDS church and she is a runner. She wears running clothes that would cover her undergarments, even though she does not wear the undergarments when she is running. We are called to honor God in this area.
Alecia - I do not believe I am dishonoring God when I run in my racing uniform any more than I feel I am dishonoring God when I swim in a bathing suit. Obviously though this is a personal decision. I have discussed it with my husband and others in church and do feel that I honor God in my life in all that I do. If I offend you, feel free not to read.
I feel the need to comment here. I encouraged Erin to wear her running uniform top and I do not believe she was in any way dishonoring God. I can tell you from personal experience with Erin and her family that their belief system is strong and beautiful and intact and that they all honor God with everything that they do and that do not do anything without praying about it first. Also, Matthew 7 instructs us not to judge one another. What poor witnesses we become when we begin to attack one another. How about we encourage one another instead?
Erin- Love that you are feeling confident and looked strong during your race! You represent your family, Brooks, and Christians everywhere well. Not just in your running, but in how you live your life! Proud to know you.
Erin - beautiful pictures, I love that in every picture your joy for running is evident :)
