This morning I went on a slow, easy three mile run. I took a shower, ate my oatmeal, spent a little time with Josh and the kids, and then made the two hour drive to Pocatello.
I met the beautiful, sweet and kind Cari, and we spent some time together before we met up with EMZ and Dawn (who are both as gorgeous and awesome as they seem on their blogs). We had a nice lunch, spent a little time at the small expo, said good bye to Cari (who is going to come back to cheer us on tomorrow!) and now I am resting in my hotel room and will meet up with the girls for dinner in a little while.
My training is done, my clothes are laid out for the morning (I am number 220), and there is not much left to do but to RUN THIS RACE. I am ready. I am excited. It is a cool feeling to be on the verge of reaping the benefits of a ton of hard work. I know I have a big challenge ahead of me and there is no guarantee I will achieve my goals, but I am feeling hopeful and confident. At this time tomorrow I plan on being celebrating a BQ and a marathon PR. :) Thanks so much to all of you for the supportive and encouraging comments and the good luck. It means A LOT to me. I will post the race results here as soon as I get back to the hotel room tomorrow. Woo hoo!
