(yeah, I love Grey's Anatomy and I say "Seriously?" all the time).
But really. Seriously????
Have you heard about THIS GUY??? He calls himself "McRunner" and he is training for a marathon by eating nothing but McDonalds for 30 days. AND he is attempting to run a sub 2:36 at the L.A. Marathon on March 20.
Obviously he is a good runner, but I can't imagine what eating only McDonald's would do to the body during marathon training... even to the svelt and the fast. Me thinks it is quite a bit off from ideal fueling.
McRunner is raising money for a good cause... he is donating up to $2,500 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities ($1 for every like on Facebook here).
I am definitely intrigued by this story and am interested to see how he does (I imagine he'll be fine). Quite the publicity stunt for sure.
I could stick to the oatmeal and yogurt and fruit for breakfast but I would be struggling for lunch and dinner. I love my McDonalds fries as much as anyone but since I have lost 70lbs and have been eating better, I find when I eat stuff like that the grease and stuff make me feel like garbage.
Sheesh... I think I have stomach issues NOW... I can't imagine what 30 days of McDonalds would do to me!!!
